Listing your property on BalkanStay is simple. Just sign up as a host, provide details about your property, upload photos, set your pricing and availability, and you're ready to start receiving bookings.

What types of properties can I list on BalkanStay?

You can list a wide range of properties on BalkanStay, including apartments, villas, cottages, vacation homes and more. Whether it's a cozy studio or a luxurious villa, we welcome all types of accommodations.

Can I list multiple properties on BalkanStay?

Yes, you can list multiple properties under your account on BalkanStay. Simply buy package with more listings available and add each property individually.

What information do I need to provide when creating a property listing?

You'll need to provide details such as property type, location, amenities, house rules, and any additional information that would help guests make an informed decision.

Are Hotels available for listing?

At this time, hotels are not yet available, but rest assured, we are diligently working to include them in our offerings soon.

How do I edit or update my property listing?

You can easily edit or update your property listing at any time through your dashboard on BalkanStay. Simply navigate to your property listing and open Edit and make the desired changes.

Can I list my property on BalkanStay if it's currently under renovation or construction?

It's best to wait until your property is ready to welcome guests before listing it on BalkanStay.

Property Amenities and Features

How do I highlight the unique features of my property?

Try to use the property photos and description to highlight unique features such as stunning views, proximity to attractions, special amenities, or unique architectural details.

Can I offer additional services or experiences to guests?

Yes, you can offer additional services such as airport transfers, housekeeping, grocery delivery, or local experiences to enhance the guest experience. You should set up this in Bookable Services while listing your property.

Are there any restrictions on the types of properties I can list on BalkanStay?

Generally, you can list a wide range of properties including apartments, houses, villas, cottages, and even unique accommodations like yurts or treehouses.

Can I list properties that are part of a larger complex, such as a resort or condominium?

Yes, you can list properties that are part of a larger complex as long as you have permission from the property management or homeowners' association. You can post complexes or multi-apartment houses on BalkanStay, but each listing should represent individual units within the complex or house, with a maximum of 10 single units.

What happens if I need to temporarily remove my property from BalkanStay?

If you need to temporarily remove your property from BalkanStay, you can deactivate it through your dashboard. This will hide your listing from search results until you reactivate it or you can contact us on Live chat Support.

Am I required to provide amenities such as Wi-Fi or toiletries for guests?

While it's not mandatory, providing amenities such as Wi-Fi, toiletries, and other essentials can enhance the guest experience and improve your property's appeal. You can specify the amenities offered in your property listing.

Pricing and Rates

How should I set pricing for my property?

Consider factors such as location, amenities, seasonality, demand, and local competition when setting pricing for your property.

Can I set my own pricing and availability for my property?

Yes, as a host, you have full control over pricing and availability for your property. You can set your own rates, adjust pricing based on demand, and block out dates when your property is not available for bookings. You can use iCal synchronization.

Can I offer discounts or promotions for my property on BalkanStay?

Yes, you can create and offer discounts or promotions for your property through BalkanStay. Simply navigate to the "Coupons" section in your dashboard to create and share promotional offers.

Can I set different pricing for weekdays and weekends?

Yes, you can set different pricing for weekdays and weekends for your property on BalkanStay. This allows you to adjust your rates based on demand and seasonality. You can also change price for each date (holidays etc.).

Is there a minimum or maximum length of stay requirement for bookings?

You can set minimum and maximum stay requirements for your property based on your preferences and availability.

Guests browse available properties, submit booking requests or Instant Book, and make payments directly through our platform or payment on Guest arrival at your property. As a host, you have the option to accept or decline booking requests or to use Instant Booking which is highly recommended.

How do I receive payments for bookings made on BalkanStay?

Payments for bookings are processed securely through our platform. Once a booking is confirmed, the guest's payment is held in escrow until the check-in date. You will receive your earnings directly to your designated payout method after the guest's check-in.

What happens if I need to cancel a booking or if a guest cancels?

In the event of a cancellation, your cancellation policy will apply. Guests may be eligible for a refund based on the terms of your cancellation policy. As a host, it's important to communicate any cancellations promptly and work with the guest to find a suitable solution.

How do I manage bookings and communicate with guests?

BalkanStay provides a comprehensive dashboard where you can manage bookings, view calendars, communicate with guests, and track earnings. Our messaging system allows for seamless communication before, during, and after the guest's stay.

What should I do if I receive a booking request for dates that are unavailable?

If you receive a booking request for dates that are unavailable, you can decline the request through your dashboard and suggest alternative dates if possible even if you are using Instant Booking you can still Cancel the reservation.
