StayPay is BalkanStay’s dedicated online payment system, designed to simplify and secure the payment process for both property owners and guests. When a guest books your property and you approve the booking, StayPay steps in to handle the payment process seamlessly. The guest is notified and can complete their payment in just a few clicks. If you’re using Instant Book, the guest will automatically proceed to payment immediately after booking.
StayPay ensures that your funds are held securely until the guest’s free cancellation period expires. Once this period passes, your cancellation policy comes into effect. If the guest cancels before their free cancellation period ends, they receive a full refund. However, if they cancel afterward, your cancellation policy determines the outcome.
Once the guest arrives and you confirm their check-in, the funds are released to your wallet section in the platform. From there, you can withdraw your earnings directly to your bank account based on the scheduled payout times.
StayPay takes the hassle out of payment processing, ensuring both security and convenience for property owners, while offering guests a smooth, reliable booking experience. Processing Fee: The processing fee is determined by the bank and typically ranges from 1-4%. This fee will be managed by you (Hoster), where you can adjust your property’s price accordingly, increasing it by around 3% to cover the cost.
