You should choose between two payment methods for your reservations: Cash Payment on Guest arrival or Online Payment Method after approving their booking. You also have an additional option, Allow Guest decide, which means the guest can choose whether to pay online or with cash on arrival. Please note that the Online Payment Method and Allow Guest decide option will be available soon. For now, you will start with cash payment.

Cash on Arrival

Cash Payment on arrival allows you to handle the transaction directly with your guest, avoiding any bank transfer fees. By choosing this method, you manage your payment process and are fully responsible for enforcing your cancellation policy. Learn More

Online Payment processing by balkanstay (StayPay)

With this option, BalkanStay offers to handle online payment processing for guest bookings. This means that the funds from reservations are processed by BalkanStay and delivered directly to the Hoster.

Use your own Payment Processing system

Alternatively, Hosters are welcome to use their own payment processing system. In this case, they can notify the guest via email after the reservation has been made. The Hoster can also mention their preferred payment method in the property description to ensure clarity for the guests.

Payouts

Payouts to Property Owners over StayPay: Payouts to property owners are scheduled regularly, typically at the start of each month. This means that once the payment period for a booking is over and the cancellation policy has expired, the funds are released to your account. We strive to make these payouts efficient and timely, ensuring you receive your earnings directly into your bank account without delay.

How do I receive payouts for bookings made on BalkanStay?

Payouts for bookings made on BalkanStay are typically made through bank transfers or you can ask for other online payment platforms, depending on your preferences and location.

When will I receive my payout as a property owner?

Payouts to property owners are scheduled on a regular basis, usually once a month. Usually first quarter of the month.

Wallet

The Wallet feature on BalkanStay allows you to track your earnings and manage your finances with ease. You can view your current balance that should be payed out if you are using StayPay in the next scheduled payout. You can also see your total earnings, and payout history directly from your account dashboard.
